UP zine

UPzine is an independently produced fanzine dedicated to underground music, with a focus on the punk and metal scenes. We believe in the power of print—each issue is released exclusively in physical copies because reading on paper fosters a slower, more meaningful connection compared to digital consumption.

At UPzine, we seek out the untold stories and hidden gems of the underground scene. Our features include interviews with bands that are still flying under the radar, as well as unique perspectives on the music world. We’re passionate about spotlighting talent that deserves recognition, away from the mainstream.

Founded in 2022, UPzine was born out of a desire to slow down, cut through the noise of endless online information, and focus on delivering high-quality content. As the designer, I handle all the layout and graphic work, and occasionally contribute articles to keep our passion for underground music alive and thriving.
